Hot Chocolate Fudge - Super Easy Microwave Fudge

Yeah, another recipe that is regular ingredients and already gluten free! I call this Hot Chocolate Fudge because, to us, it taste like hot chocolate! It's super quick to make. You could put the first two ingredients together, powdered sugar and cocoa, in a cute container and print up a note with the directions and give to someone as a small gift. I make it even easier by making bags for our pantry of the powdered sugar and cocoa sifted together in the correct measurements so all I need to do is take a bag and pour in bowl and that step is done.  So I will make around 3 bags for our pantry extra when I'm doing this recipe.

1 lb Powdered Sugar ( 3 3/4 cups)
1/2 cup Cocoa
1/2 cup Butter  ( 1 stick)
1/4 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla

1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

1  Sift powdered sugar and cocoa together in a 2 quart microwave safe bowl.
2  Cut up butter in four pieces and lay them on top.  It's O.K. if butter is cold it doesn't need it to be room temperature for this recipe. (Even easier!)
3  Pour milk over the top.
4  DO NOT MIX TOGETHER !
5  Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
6  Remove from microwave and stir with a rubber spatula, pressing down on the lumps until well blended.
7  Add vanilla and nuts stirring to incorporate.
8  Pour into a greased 8 x 8 pan.
9  Cool 20 minutes then cut into squares.
10  If you can wait the 20 minutes then eat but it never makes it that long at my house! When the kids find out I made hot chocolate fudge they want samples while it's cooling.
