Sweet:
* Chocolate Bar with creamy peanut butter on top. Sometimes even a couple squares is enough to satisfy the sweet tooth.

* GF graham crackers, applesauce and whip cream. Put applesauce between two pieces of gluten free graham crackers and top with whip cream. My mom use to make this for me when I was a kid, yum.
* Lots of stuff to do with pudding. You can crumble a cookie ( like a store bought whatever kind you like) in the bottom of a dish, put banana and vanilla pudding over it and top with whip cream. It's like a personal pie!
* Smoothie, of course this is an option and everyone knows about it, my kids like it with juice (any kind works, I usually use apple or orange) frozen strawberries, bananas, Greek yogurt, mixed frozen tropical fruit and honey. I buy bananas cut them up in slices and freeze them so I always have bananas on hand. Also I buy large size Greek yogurt and put in ice cube trays and freeze and then put in Ziploc bag. Then you always have all the ingredients and they are frozen so makes the smoothie stay cold better. This way you don't need to add ice! I keep a basket in my freezer with all the smoothie ingredients so when they want a smoothie I can grab the basket out and everything is in there. Instead of trying to find each thing in freezer. (SHH! I don't tell them but I also add spinach in there too, if you put enough strawberries and mix it up they will never know.)

* Apples and peanut butter, my kids like this a lot, slice them up and put a scoop of peanut butter on plate and watch it disappear.
* Pillsbury new refrigerator dough can be used for lots of quick treats. When the oven is already on for dinner scoop out two cookies for each person and pop them in after you take the dinner out. You can add stuff in like butterscotch chips. Check out Pillsbury website for lots of recipes.
* Watermelon, Feta Cheese, Candied Pecans and balsamic vinaigrette. I know sounds strange but it is really good. Slice a thin layer of watermelon, put some Feta cheese and candied pecans on top and pour a little of the vinaigrette over.
* Frozen Banana Pop. Slice several peeled bananas in half and insert popsicle sticks. Coat each half with an ounce of low fat plain yogurt. Put pops in the freezer, and soon you will have ready to eat low calorie gluten free treats. Under 80 Calories.
* Smoked Salmon Pinwheel. Spread 1 tablespoon of low fat cream cheese onto a slice of smoked salmon (lox) and roll it up. This is high in protein and has heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids. Use a little less cream cheese and you can have two for under 100 Calories. If you are looking for a low calorie snack.
