Cream of Chicken Soup - Base

Use this for recipes that call for canned creamed soup.  My son likes to eat it just like this it's so good.


1½ cups  chicken broth (I mix up some Better than Bouillon)
½ tsp  poultry seasoning
¼ tsp  onion powder
¼ tsp  garlic powder
1/8 tsp  black pepper
¼ tsp  salt
¼ tsp  parsley
dash  of paprika
1½ cups  milk
3-4 tsp  cornstarch
1 In a medium saucepan boil chicken broth, 1/2 cup of milk and the seasonings for a minute or two.
2 In a bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 cup of milk and cornstarch.
3 Add to boiling mixture and continue whisking until mixture boils and thickens.
