Asparagus with Lemon Butter

We really liked this a lot and easy.  I also used on warm spinach!  

1 lb Fresh Asparagus, trimmed
3 TBSP Butter
1 Tsp  Italian Spices (mixture of basil, thyme, etc)
1 TBSP Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
Fresh Ground Pepper

1   Blanch Asparagus in a pot of rapidly boiling salted water until crisp and tender, about 3 minutes.
2  Transfer to a platter.
3  Heat butter over medium heat in small saucepan.
4  Add Italian spices and lemon juice and simmer until butter is light brown.
5  Pour over asparagus, sprinkle cheese and pepper on top .
Serve warm.
